Die Komiker für den diesjährigen Ball:
Mike Casa
Originally from Lugano, Mike started performing stand-up comedy in Sydney in 2015, where he reached the semi-finals of the Sydney Comedy Court Contest. He is a hilarious and witty comedian ... wait a minute - everyone knows that these bios are written by the comedian himself, no? Isn't it a bit pathetic all this self-complimenting? Damn, am I writing down these thoughts? Come on, go back to the bio - He had the chance to be the opening act for Michael Elsener, Thomas Wiesel, Glenn Wool, and many others.
Ben Delahye
Benjamin is a typical expat story: moved to Zürich for a job, stayed for the fondue. Juggling with marriage, two children, comedy gigs, a full-time job and heavy partying, Ben still believes he can have it all. His comedy will make you realize that all the stereotypes you hold about French people are not only true but also worse than you thought. He has performed all over Switzerland, in his home country France, in Los Angeles at the Comedy Store, in Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Amsterdam, the UK & Australia. He also published a children's book on Kindle under the pen name "Isaac Cocci"
Joana Pido
Joana is a Filipina living in Switzerland and a living proof that looks can be deceiving. She may have an innocent looking face but just wait until you hear her filthy material. She started doing comedy in December 2021 and is a fast-rising comedian seen in showcase shows in Basel, Zürich and Bern.
Ahmet Bilge
Ahmet grew up in the US, matured in Turkey & now he's slowly decomposing in Switzerland. Despite being a "chubby young starving artist" in one of the world's most affluent countries, his outlook on life, witty jokes and embarrassing personal anecdotes is honest, silly & likeable.
Vanessa Lepine
Vanessa is a Canadian who has been living in Zurich for the past 8 years. She is a marketing strategist turned comedian. She talks mainly about the joy (or the lack of) of being a single woman in her thirties. She plays all over Europe in French and English, as well as in Canada, when she visits her mother. She teaches stand-up at the Insight theater school in Geneva. She has participated in the world-renowned Avignon Festival, Montreux Comedy Festival and Festival de Morges-Sous-Rire. She is currently writing her first one-hour show which will be released in 2023. She loves being on stage and dislikes having to describe herself in a text while referring to herself at the third person.
Fairis Osman
FAIRIS OSMAN is a Malaysian living in Switzerland. From a very young age, he was a shy person and was laughed at. To relive that experience, he started doing stand-up comedy in 2019. He finds everything around him funny. An IT guy enjoys life as a comedian.
Tom Devenport
Tom is an American writer, voice actor and comedian working out of Basel, Switzerland. He has developed animation, provided the voice for commercials and award-winning films, and performed in venues ranging from bars with chicken wire around the stage to clubs, theaters, and festivals around the U.S, and in England and mainland Europe.
